Default Need Info. Selling a Planned Non Operational Vehicle

I have a 1992 Camaro that has been planned non operational for 10 years.

The project has taken a back seat and I have decided to unload the car.

it's a rolling chassis without a engine or transmission.

How do I sell a non opped car without a engine or trans.

I was told the car needs to be smogged before I can sell it.

Any help would be appreciated.

just let the buyer know thats the case, and they need to take care of the smog themselves.
a non op car is not going to need smog to transfer titles, unless they are trying to register it for on highway use immediately.

if you have the title, its easy breezy. just sign over the paper title to the new owner. let them give you their information on the cutoff portion of the release of liability part of the title. and ASAP go to the ca dmv website and submit an online release of liability form.
this way in case an accident occurs involving your previous vehicle in transit you will not be liable for damages.
