Any Idea on how it was stolen? did they have access to a key? otherwise I would only suspect it to be taken on a tow truck. Sorry to hear about that, hope you get it back.

Thanks.

I have both keys on hand. I have a camera in front of he house but unfortunately it was too dark to see their faces but only movement was recorded. It looks like it's a easy access for them, they open the door without breaking the glass and then the alarm turns on a few seconds and then the Camaro left at the spot. It looks like a professional job.

But good thing is the cops is been communicating with onstar and they don't want me to get involved from this point on.

Wow so much for Passkey III... I had enough trouble with my 4th gen VATS lol... I'm really curious how they got passed the new version. Only thing I can think of is if they were able to copy your keys electronic signature, but then you would think they would be able to just remotely unlock it and the alarm would have never went off.

Good luck with On Star, I really hope they can help and get your car back. Please let us know updates.

It's only suspision about the alarm turning on because there is no sound recorded in the camera but I saw all the lights blink about 2 seconds so I figure that was the alarm but I got your point about the electronic signature they prolly have it program already.

It's funny that I just brought it to the dealer to get it service 2 weeks ago since i bought a 5yrs service contract on it.

Yeah that really sucks man. Sorry to hear that. It kind of sounds like an inside job . Someone at the dealership found a quick way to make some money.

That sucks. This is the latest way thieves have been stealing cars. They disable the sound feature of the alarm and then do their thing. Hopefully you get it back in one piece.
