Does your car have one cat converter or two? I have one and i was talking to this guy about a y pipe and he is saying this....
Your going to need 2 cats because the headers go into the y-pipe which merges into the catback so u gotta get a cat in there after each header unlike stock. You can use one cat however, you could have it welded to the end of the y-pipe and then cut of a few inches of the catback. So basically it would be like halfway down ur car so but it may be real hard to pass the visual inspection. Would be any easy way to do it tho.
I dont see why i would need two if the car came stock with only 1?!
And greg and i arent going out to firebird but will definitely be out on bell.

Hey chris this is the latest on the cat converter issue:
Are you going with longtube headers, shorties or midlength? That will determine what type of y-pipe you need. If you go with longtubes then you'd really need 2 cats coming off each header for them to actually work right. A single cat will be too far away from the engine to function properly. If you go with mid-length headers then you can go with a stock type y-pipe.

hey guys, some good times tonight, got the chance to line up against chris's silverado ss... killed me off the line and finally cought him at 80 lol... also raced a 95 neon with a turbo running 11psi, killed it from a dig, it was sweet... also had the chance to race a v6 stang hahahaha, joey was in that race as well. it was also sweet cruising with 3 lifted trucks, 3 t/a's and a group of imports, lol tension was very high in that group, but everytime i lined up with the white crx he wouldnt even look at me. oh well...
my car was pulling excellent tonight, nice and cold outside, and basically on E for gas, lol i was lovin it

glad you guys had fun the track was crap last night
i ran a 17.3 at 95 MPH ohh yeahhh!!!
traction problems allll nightttt
and it was closed for like 2 hours literally, starting running at 730, closed at 830 till about 930 and i left it sucked sooo bad
i fishtailed a lot and i learned about how my tires suck ***

anyways you ran a 17.3 thats horrible dude, lol you should be at least low 14's, high 13's...
and ya according to ss chris, i flew by him when he was at 80mph... i was moving to when i passed him, fast enough to where i didnt have time to look over and see the expression on his face lol... but ya my start was horrible as usual, spun like mad, then let off alittle to get some hook'age then slowly layed into the throttle, and by then he had a nice length on me... and i know he does have a magnaflow exhaust on the ss, not sure of anything else.

Yeah the truck is not stock, have 2 magnaflows dumped at the axle. When we raced I got a little jump on him out of the hole. If it was dead even he would have passed me around 70-75mph. He had to have close to 20mph on me when he passed. I also raced the spoon honda car. Was almost too easy to put him in my rearview mirror.

sorry to bother you guys but i need some help
i just installed some headers, and i have a couple boltons and mods, but i was reading the EXHAUST MOD GUIDE and it said that after headers is recommended to do a small tunning with the MAF-T, to regulate the A/F so i got it but i dont know how to use it and i dont wanna play with it dont wanna mess things up, so i was hoping you guys could help me out, i would appreciate it alot. thanks
