i plan on cruisin this saturday

 

This Sunday (the 20th) is club day at SpeedWorld. AZFBA will be out in force as we have 20 people signed up to go. Jason and Mark are both on the list. Join us if you like. Gates open at 9am and track is hot at 10.

 

that sounds cool, have not run my car in a while, and alot of f bodies too, how much is it

i may go to the track on sat night as well, then out around town.

 

sounds fun, i just might gather up 10 bucks and check it out, wont be racing though... as said before, ive got probably the lamest wheel setup you've ever seen on a trans am, so iwont be racing till i get some wheels worthy of the track.

and no i did not buy my wheels, the previous owner put them on, in case anybody was wondering lol

hahahahha, you cought me... i drove by discount tire, and saw those huge shiney wheels in the window... i knew right there, i had to have them! they told me 8g's for the whole wheel/tire package, and boy was it worth it!!!! hahahhaha!!!

 

Only 8G's? damn...I would kill to get of set of them. I used to work at discount maybe I could grab a set of them for my car. jk.

No valvetrain noises this time but.....

I twisted the splines on the slip yoke and had to hammer the DS out of the car. Also the car got stuck in 6th gear. So in the end I need a new Transmission, and a new slip yoke for the DS.

However I did cut a new best on Sat. Night. 12.12 @ 113.94 on a 1.70 60ft.

getting closer to the 11's, but damn man... you keep breaking stuff, and now you need an entire new T56?!?!?!?!? how much is that going to cost you?

 

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the t56. This is the second t56 that I have gone through. I kinda want to go to a th350 with a brake but I dont know. I got some time to decide.

well i dont know about tranny's, but are you staying six speed, or going auto? so is your car drivable right now?

 

Nope had BlackZ tow me back from the track. I;m not sure if i will stay with the manual or go the auto with trans brake.

I got a job that is a 5 min bike ride from the house and I carpool with a roomate to school. I have some stock ugly *** wheels off a lt1 trans am. And they are painted black. haha.
