never seen that. but i have seen a CHP 05 STi slammed on 18s with exhaust, BOVs, and blacked out windows....i was honestly ready to flip a bitch and go after him cus it was hella clean.

about 10 years ago think, they had a think in the paper saying they were going to go to the volvos as police cars, but i guess that never flew, but that little volvo could kick a crown vics ***.

 

yeah i live up here in redding and they had one stationed up here. it was pretty cool and everyone was talking about the volvo cop car. i think the guy who drove it was a dink though. people were really shocked to see a volvo in black and white. whenever it was out people were always rubber necking to see it. you know the sneeky ones are the motorcycle cops on those little bmw bikes. they like to hide in the corners so you can't see them and then nail you.

It's a T5 Volvo sedan outfitted for the CHP. It had the front doors painted white and the rest black. Now the car is all black but retains the spotlights/pushbar and stuff. It was just odd seeing it because I've never heard of a Volvo police car in the US.

 

Never saw one. If I did, it would be after the fact (after he pulled me over). Never would have noticed the Volvo headlights in my rearview and thought "chippy".

 

Test & evaluation only, CHP had about 10 of them.
