california speedway april 22nd

oh and take your 1/8th e.t. and multiply it by 1.53. This will give you an estimate of what your 1/4 e.t. would have been on that run

If you want a full 1/4 mile time, you could go to LACR, but the elevation is high, and you'll never get a number you'll be proud of. You can go either Wednesday nights or Friday nights.

oh.. id rather go out further to a place where i can get a good run
better elevation, nice grippy track..

1.53 huh? got to remember that.
maybe i can go back to irwindale and make sense of the numbers

Nine Finger 02 Z28, after the super chevy show, what will happen?
will they then let people get 1/4 mile runs in on certain days?

No.They only hold NHRA Events there.

You are pretty much S.O.L when it comes to dragstrips in So.Cal. The only decent 1/4mi track, Pamona, only runs NHRA sanctioned events.

For the poor schmo's like us you get the choice of:

Irwindale: 1/8mi track + you might get shot
Fontana: 1/4mi track, 1200 ft elevation, 100+ deg temps during summer-time, lousy track-prep, and maybe 3 runs in 7hrs if you are lucky.
LACR:1/4mi track, 2710' elevation, poor track prep.
Famoso:1/4mi track, ~400' elevation, good track prep (so I hear), 140 miles away.

I'll be giving Famoso a try on 4/28, it can't be any worse than LACR or Speedway (Fontana).
