You wouldn't have passed with long tubes.

hehe no.. smog every other year.. I guess biannual isnt the word.
Anyway.. I'm good for two years now

When Jeff was out here, he tuned the car like he would any other car it seems.

I should get some LTs now. The hassle of swapping everything is gonna suck in 2 yrs though.

That cam is good for nearly 400 rwhp with longtubes, so you'd definately free up some hp. I bet you'd gain over 30+ rwhp with longtubes. 2 years is a long time lol!

Very nice, I'm just gonna wait until I smog stock, then put an F14 in it . Two years later I'll just put everything back to stock, smog, then do it again.

Yea.. it isnt the emissions that is the problem with LT's, it's the fact that they move the location of factory cats and such. I wish someone made CARB Legal LTs. Then we wouldnt have to deal with this..

CARB-legal LTs = a mini-cat in each downpipe.

well since FLP longtubes are already 1200 bucks, I'd hate to think what those mini cat longtubes would be costing.......... probably 3k or so, and some rich douche out here would buy them!

How do you figure? There is no gray area with longtubes. They are not legal period, and the SLP's are no closer to being legal than any other longtube. As much as I hate the SLP's, I wish they were!

I passed smog back in December with pretty damn good results, but I dont know how much I can mod over here, guess I have to ask the F-Body crowd here... Ive tried asking before about the sniffer on LTs, will they pass emissions gas wise? (Location of cat is not something they would know over here, and with a single cat it would stay pretty much in the same place).
