hahahahhahahah... backseat stomach stabbin going on huh...

well, i think i might cut a trap door for a fuel pump swap, that way it will be easy to access in case of a similar problem, if these cars CAME with a trap door like they SHOULD HAVE, i wouldnt have been stuck for 3 hours trying to get my car running... damn.

probly go with a walbro 255 or a racetronix plug n play

ok then do the walbro 255lph replacement...ask about a filter sock too, you need one of those...

But first, did you try to bang on the tank to see if you could get it jammin again??? If not, give it a shot..Like pound that **** with a hammer while someone is trying to start it...

didnt try that.. but i think i'd just rather replace it, its lasted 100k miles... should be good to switch to a nice fresh one. maybe a fuel filter too.

i was reading the racetronix site.. they say with the aftermarket walbro pumps the stock pump voltage holds it back or something which is why they offer that replacement harness, is that really necessary, or is it just a marketing act? cant i just swap in a walbro 255 and call it a day and have it run great with plenty of fuel?

with the walbro you will need to splice it in , the racetronix harness is so you dont have to have up your wire ane it will save you the trouble, get the reacetronix, i need to change mine out also as well as the regulator since my fuel pressure is low and getting lower over time

i dont have a problem with doing electrical work, i think i'd rather do it myself than spend another 150$ to have it done for me.

i think you will need to fun a line from your alternator to the pump since it will need more power, i looked it up a while ago , but i perfer to plug and play and be done with it, getting lazy i guess

Ruben, have you been drinking??? Spelling is a little off...

I recommend the harness too...Fuel pump voltage is very important...But it's your car, do what you want with it...

Like i said, the dealer will sell you the pump and sending unit assembly which you do not need...

ya i just read something like that. considering i'd rather not spend 250$ on a fuel pump right now, on a basically stock car... maybe ill just go to GM and buy an OEM one, and save the fancy stuff for later if i ever get a cam or anything.

i suck at typing but oh well, my point was that it needs more power to run it correctly

no they sell the GM one... puts out 40gallons at 6-9psi. the walbro would be 89 for just the pump, but i dont want to hassle with voltage messing stuff up, i just want my car to run. and im sure as hell not spending 250$ right now on a pump when all i have is intake and exhaust.

low voltage can be a problem on the stock pump as well, it happens to alot of people on here
