Would anyone here be interested in a LQ9 w/ 4L80E, ECU and wiring harness out of a 2002 Silverado 4x4?
I picked it up for my Rock Crawler project, but had a change of plans. I paid $3600 for the set, but would let it go for $3200...

So i wont be making it to the track tomorrow. I think i jinxed myself. took the car out today and saw some friends. They wanted to go for a ride and feel the N2o. So i get on the freeway and ran it from 60mph (2nd gear) To the top of 4th (about 145mph or so). Car felt fine and pulled strong. Coasted back down to the speed limit and got off at the next exit. Sittin at the stop light i notice it is idleing kinda weird. So when light goes green it kinda stumbles and sounds like **** and i notice a loud ticking/hissing noise. (Sounds like a real loud exhaust leak.) Pop the hood and notice there is oil on the back of the intake manifold and i think thats where the noise is coming from. So i think its the Intake gasket. But a friend suggested spraying starting fluid back where its sounds like the leak is coming from and see if the idle changes and it didnt. So i am not sure what it is now. But i think i might just set the car on fire and roll it down a hill. Anyone want to come fix my car for me?

Yeah, i probably wont sell it. I have gotten so mad at it before that i put it in autotrader. Just put a real high price. Had like 2 phone calls on it in 4 months. Not sure what broke but i think it has been broken for a while. Just not this bad. Because it has had an oil leak in the same spot for a long time. Just never this much before. So i hope its the intake gasket. Maybe i "blew the welds on my intake from all this NOS." ****** cars suck.

There's no oil going though the intake. If there is oil coming from the back of the intake, it is probably the rear main seal. Pull the intake and see what's going on. Could be the valley cover gasket.
