Talking Just Passed Smog TODAY!!!!!

Just took my car to the gas station on the corner by my house to have a pre-test done because i wasnt sure i would pass with my mods. low and behold after going over my car with a FINE tooth comb and doing the pre-test he said i passed! i said test it again right now but this time hook me-up to the system and smog me. what a relief. from the looks of the read out i had lots of room left! (H'MMM,what else can i do and still pass in 2 years?) i will have fun finding out!

Yeah I know, I had to swap mine for the stock manifolds a while back. You get used to it though, I can swap them out pretty damn fast haha. I think its worth the time...

Kind of sad that we celebrate "passing a smog test" here in Cali.

Oh well it is a part of life here in Cali. Congrats on passing.

Default idea

its an idea but cant you pass smog with an sts turbo kit? the main problem with turbo cars not passing smog is that the cats cant heat up at startup because the turbo absorbs all of the heat. if a cats not at the right temp it wont function. if the sts mounts it after the cat then im pretty sure you would pass. just an idea, dont know much about anything in the f body world, i just like f-bodies
