so greg did you fix the AC yet

 

i need to find a place to get my AC compressor replaced ASAP... its starting to make some not so friendly squealing as well as the metal on metal, i dont want it to seize up...

any idea where i can get one installed on a saturday or sunday? i dont really want to have to leave the car anywhere..

 

Anywhere that replaces A/C stuff and has the parts in stock...Just do it and quit bitching...

 

yeah but not too many shops seem to be open on the weekends

unless i take off work, which isnt easy to do, i cant really get the car anywhere to have it done

 

Sounds like some major Hummage to me there doll...Find out what year it is, what's done to it, and if it's a Cobra or GT...Probably some jackass with a 94 GT w/ I/E/H and thinks he can blow the world apart...When in reality, he is doing nothing but merely blowing smoke up his own ***...

But we will see...

LOL@ 500hp mustang owned by a friend of a friend who's brother is cousins with richard simmons... who wants to hang out with us.

 

Supposedly my Buddies buddy has an 800hp civic... No Joke. I've gone over to his house and seen it.... Just haven't seen the dyno numbers.... Am I crazy or is that around 90% impossible?

 

I will post pics of my truck tomorrow for you those who have not seen it. Time to clean my swollen and bloddy hand again....

That is possible. The owner of Full Race(a turbo shop in Tempe) had a civic that put out 856hp. he was pushing 56 lbs. of boost through it though. check out their website at www.full-race.com

 

peter, are u sure its your compressor and not that bearing inside the clutch?

Mine made the same exact noise as urs and i replaced that and it went away and blew cold. But only shortly after did the clutch split in half. But i bet bretts dad might do it for u, cheaper than a shop too.

 

it could be the clutch? cause when the clutch is engaged (ie the ac is on) there isnt as much noise..mainly when the ac is off, is when the noise gets worse

the air still blows cold

most of the time the noise is when the ac is off, but now when i start the car up with the ac on, there is some funky squeaking going on. (not like a belt squeak, almost like say a squeaky rollerskate wheel or something)

any idea how i could get ahold of him? where is he at... i either need to find a way to get it done on the weekend, or have someone pick up/drop off the car or something as i work m-f 7-4

I say that's BS, it can happen, but without dyno proof i think that's hummage right there...

 

This wasnt a street driven civic. it was a drag car. if you go onto that site you can see picture of there race civics that they have built
