damn that does sound good. all we have around here (l.a. area) is lapd and a&a vette, good shops but we could use another. how much do you plan to charge for dyno tunes? any set prices yet on installation of heads? cam? superchargers?

If you sold parts along with offering speed shop services that would be awesome. No one in so cal keeps LS1 parts in stock! I called 10 different shops today looking for parts (along with some afr 225 heads) and everything had to be ordered.

That's because everyone expects to get the parts for less than than suggested retail. In order to do that, you would have to do a "buy in" for the specific parts, like AFR 225's, as an example, let's say they dealer cost @ $2,000 per set with a min. buy in of 10 sets. That's $20,000 in inventory alone for one product. Then you get to wait to sell those while you have your capital tied up. Let's multiply that by the 10 hottest selling parts...... and look at the amount of money that's needed to have part'sn the shelf. It ain't cheap.

Yeah you have to pay inventory tax on whats laying on the shelf . The shops would go broke if their werent selling mass quantites say like summit, toys r us , jegs etc what a pisser huh
