That's because everyone expects to get the parts for less than than suggested retail. In order to do that, you would have to do a "buy in" for the specific parts, like AFR 225's, as an example, let's say they dealer cost @ $2,000 per set with a min. buy in of 10 sets. That's $20,000 in inventory alone for one product. Then you get to wait to sell those while you have your capital tied up. Let's multiply that by the 10 hottest selling parts...... and look at the amount of money that's needed to have part'sn the shelf. It ain't cheap.

The point I was trying to make was that it would nice to have a shop in the Inland Empire that has smaller items that most places do not stock i.e. valvetrain parts, gaskets, seals, LS1 engine building tools, bolts, studs, etc. A couple 5 axis CNC mills for head porting wouldnt hurt either. Just in case you have an extra couple hundred thousand laying aroud.
