any other Type 1 Diabetics out there? I am looking for zero pity in this thread, just looking for others in the same boat.
any out there?
what meds are you on?
how often do you do injections & test your blood suger levels.
I take lantus and humalog about 2-3 shots a day and test my blood 7-10 times a day.
nothing makes feel less than human when i cant even take care of myself
now the pissed part.
**** i hate this ****.one minute i 300 next im 30. why was i cursed w/ this ****?arrrrrghhhhhhhh.
ok im better now. atleast i can still ****, walk ,see & drive.(for now)

YES!!! Me... I have been diabetic for 20 yrs... I know EXACTLY what you are talking about and going through! I was on insulin shots for years but about a year ago I got fortunate enough to get an insulin pump. That was the BEST thing I ever did concerning my diabetes. I would HIGHLY suggest that to you. They are about $8,000.00 but my insurance paid everything but $1100.00 If you have any questions or need help/advice I will be happy to talk to you about it. You can PM me if you would like...

Not a diabetic, but a very close friend of mine has a 5 year old daughter that had it for 6 mos. now. I help out when I can, and it is very frustrating. I can see what you guys are going through. Her daughter sneaks and eats candy and everything. Frustration shoots through the roof. Can't blame her though, she's only 5.

No problem! The pump is really the "bomb" and I suggest it to anyone that is diabetic!

and i understand about the rebounding it sucks, like i get low and i eat alot so i give myself about 12 units of humalog *im on a 10 cabrs-1 unit count*
and josh is dumb, he will probably die of a heart attack sooner then we will, and why they arent banned....i wont know.
