Default Got my 224/224 114 through smog!

Whew, that was a relief. Passed with flying colors, I was wondering if my little cam would pass. Time to toss my mods back on!

I remember taking my '94 F150 Lightning in for smog with a much lumpier than stock cam. The guy doing the inspection took exception to the rough idle, but figured it was because I "must have had a broken motor mount". I said: "OK, I'll have to fix that". We went on with the test and it passed with flying colors.

This is really good news, though. I bought a much smaller cam, but am starting to regret it. I think now I'm definately going for a bigger cam. Is your car tuned at all? Did you pass with a reflash?, or stock tune?

Passed on stock tune. My only obstacle was that the SES light comes on every now and then so I had to wait until it was off before taking it in.

you can go bigger than that had stock shortblock cc306 in my 94' T/A passed below the average.i had no egr no air pump the key was two big *** 3" cats and stock programed computer w/ stock injectors and runnin 87.last but,not least a buddy that will over look the visual.funny to watch him keep it within parameters on the rollers w/ 4500 stall in a reverse manual valvebody a3. i would like to see an ls1's maximum allowable limits on smog jus to see if it would've passed that test also.

I passed a 224/224 .570/.570 112 cam with PP stage 2 LS6 heads and no smog equipment working and 42lb injectors with the only part of the tune changed was the IFR table for the injectors. Pasted that no problem.
