Stock ls2 heads (flow like ls6 but larger chambers), patriot springs a used 02-04 z06 cam, ls6 intake your looking at $1,000 in parts max and are way more than capable of making 600whp. on a d1 that 8-9 psi on pump gas no problem and will idle like stock.

You don't need a fast 90/90 or crazy parts, you have the blower to force the ait into the motor, just make sure you get a quality intercooler and decent fuel system.

Your power will come from the tune.... They only Person i would have tune a procharger or vortech car is Charlie Williams the tuner From A&A he has more FI ls1's under his belt than anyone on the west coast.

ls2 heads are the same as c5 z06 heads they are both 243 castings, you mean run 6.0 liter heads (lq9 heads), same port as ls6/ls2 heads, but larger 72 cc chamber

He was going to do the cam for me but I needed my car right away.Plus I wasnt going to do the tune and started thinking It was going to run like crap.So im just going to wait for some $ to get heads the cam,pulley,and a dynotune.I am going to be changing my gears next week.My friend keeps telling me to go with 3.73.

i vote for haddad. Because Strictly did blow up gus's sts car tuning it.

uuuhhh heres a thought,....Maybe Gus shouldn't have been beating on the damn car that weekend without a tune before Rob had an opportunity to build the tune for him at the dyno. Thats why it finally blew when Rob had it in his hands at the dyno!!!! ...... Again,.....NOT Rob's fault!

These are the ******* one sided stories I'm talking about!

He's in Van Nuys also so he's not far.


If you ever read GM-HighTech you'll always see one of Rob's cars in there at some point in time. He actually has a few go'n in there in a month! Whats good for GMHighTech is sure as hell good enough for any of us!......Actually ,...I have the article he was in when he was adding AFR's Mongoose heads on a Vette sit'n right in front of me at my desk!
I hear GM High Tech will be there sunday through thursday this week.

There gonna come down to the shop from what Rob told me but not today. One more car left to finish up before GMHT comes by and we're all gonna get our hands on it this afternoon but.. we're go'n Go-Kart racing first! .....

thanks for all the responses.....ive talked to a few guys already and i am narrowing it down. its A LOT of money that im basically gonna have someone use at their knowledge.

Hey Rampage how is the SS lookin? Did they get my K member in yet? What cars does the mag like for pics? What type of an article is going to appear and will it be the next issue or later on? Thanks

Your cars get'n there. ....almost done! Don't know if it came in yet today. Was only at the shop with Rob for 5 minutes before we had to drop off a car. ....I'mn heading back in a few minutes tho!

From what Rob told me... the Procharged Granatelli GTO, the Procharged SS, the Twin Turbo GTO, the Vortech SS.... maybe one of the Vette's and a few others. Not really sure. But they originally planned on 4 and now say'n maybe others also. Haven't really discussed it allot with him. I think everyones just ***** to the wall on try'n to finish the cars before the photographer from GM High Tech gets to the shop.

Honestly,.....I don't know jack about the article but if they're photographing 4 or more cars then It's sure to be one hell of an article in itself!
