Default Racing in Colorado sucks! Track #s inside...

6000ish ft elevation

60' 2.112
ET 13.48
Trap 105.9x

I don't have the slip in front of me, but my 1/8 mile was like an 8.8x at 82 mph, so my car's doin pretty good on the top end.

The 3.42s are waaaaay to tall for both my car and this damn altitude. Track was pretty inconsistent in both lanes. I was launching at 4500 with a real quick slip and it would either bog down to 2500ish or spin, some wheelhop but not too bad. Tried all kinds of burnout, launch combinations to no avail. 20psi in the bfg dr's tonight, I started at 30 psi but they were real unforgiving there. Otherwise I was trapping out in 3rd gear hitting the limiter just before the line so it probably would have done 107 or so if i bumped the limiter a tad. Just for reference... a guy was there with an 04 cobra with a ported eaton running 12#s of boost making 480rwhp corrected (i saw his dynosheet) and he was trapping 107 earlier in the night when I was only trapping 104. There was also a guy in an 01 cobra with a 75 shot and everything but gears only trapping 101. So 480 rwhp= maybe 110mph here at this track. I think with 4.10s or 4.30s, a <1.8 short time, and bumping the limiter from 6600 to 6800 would give me 12.90s at 108. Anyways I think I was the quickest true daily driver car there, which is pretty sad hahaha. Still need a dynotune!

Thoughts? I'm just glad I'll be back in so cal next weekend...

I am curious what the D.A. was also, because I trap about 101-102, 13.0's at about 4800 D.A. in Palmdale & I only have 335rwhp

I'm not sure, I asked around and no one knew what it was. All I know is the air is thin as hell. It was probably 70s when I got there, 60s when I left and pretty humid. There were a few stock auto ls1s there running high 14s, but their 60's were like 2.4.

Those numbers seem wack.
Even as a shitty drag racer, I can get 2.0 60' times with crappy tires and a manual.
I also ran a 109mph / 13.5ish when I had 414 RWHP (corrected)

This friday is a big event at Bandi, alot of LSx's will be there. With some MT ET's and 470 to the wheels, im hoping to do alot better.

Bandi usually posts temps and DA on the timesslips as well.

yea the 60' times seemed weird because I've driven the car with less mods to a 1.899 on street tires.... even when the car was bone stock and it was my first time to the track, I did a 2.07. But then again the ET and MPH are kinda lopsided and it shows in the 60' and the 1/8. Car felt good, one or two runs I had a random missfire at 6000+ but I've got 1 year old autozone wires in the car and uncoated headers so that's probably the problem
