well thats because i let off. the car infront of me was getting closer and closer. u still didnt pull on me more than a fender.guess we will have to do it again.

first of all, 3725 lbs != 4000lbs
ls1 = slow GTO
ls2 = faster GTO, better rear end and stronger+faster tranny, etc. etc., with very very minimal weight increase...we're talking <20 lbs increase.
Losing to a stock ls2 GTO should humble you guys. 0-60 in 4.6-5 seconds on average for an ls2 gto is no joke. and neither is a high 12 1/4 mile out of the box for a stock auto ls2.

I agree, though, it is way overweight...but it's not a pony car...I wish it was around 3500 lbs, though, instead of 3700lbs...and i wish it had room for more tire up front and out back...but then again, it's a GT car, not a pony car...I want my bro's Trans Am right about now hahaha

ls2 are no joke thats for sure. and yes alot of people can put these cars in low 13s to high 12s with stock tires. dont hear that from too many full on stock ls1 f-bodies without having drag radials. and plus i eat SS camaros with ease, u guys talk about the 200 or so pounds difference like rice rocket drivers thats y they all buy hatchbacks. stock gtos put anywhere from 330-350 to the wheels they all vary really. few extra pounds **** it i got a few extra cubes that make up the difference.
