LS1 is fast! Those are the exact words that my friend said after me and him raced from a 40 mph roll to about 120. I beat him by about 1.5-2 lengths. I had my Z28 and he had his STI with 3" non-catted turbo back exhaust, intake and tuned by JDM.

Yea we did a few runs, but the outcome was the all the same. Even when i fucked up and missed and grinded 3rd i still beat him by a nose. The most i got him by was about 1.5 lengths, with an average of about 1 length.

that would be a good race just dont catch a gto on the freeway, these things are incredible how much they wind up at top end. i have ran a 03-04 terminator cobra on the freeway with a pulley swap and me being in third gear, he could not pass me up but did keep up behind two cars
damn things whine could be heard on the freeway with my windows rolled up

hell no a ls2 gto pulled on me like I was standing still, he had like 3-4 cars on me, I know I don't got any mods except my cutout but still, he was stock too, and I know my rims don't make THAT much of a difference and im an auto w/ traction control turned off
