Why is it pointless on street tires? I pulled 8.0s and a 1.899 60'...
Anyways tonight wasnt too great. Just got tuned yesterday picked up 11 WHP and 20 lbs tq. A few other people said they were not running as well as they usually were either (like .3-.4 off) So that may have some to do with and the extra power and still stock street tires maybe too but the car wasn't hooking as well as it usually does (same problem other people were having) and it was spinning them into second more than it usually does up untill my last run. Pulled a bunch of low 8.2s with high 1.9 60's with 1 of them being a 2.1
Although last run of the night lowered the tire pressure a little and pulled on a 1.837 60' but there were cars still at the end of the 1/8th because it was already after 10 and the timeslip booth line was all the way back onto the track so I had to brake early and ran a 8.448 so I don't know what that run could have been 
either looks like the track prep wasn't that great tonight or its time for the drag radials...

and yes i drive it around daily on street tires, i just choose not to race it on street tires
Haha, I'm pretty sure I have driven faster cars, although those had lovely suspension mods to even out with the HP, but I was just messin with you man. Should get some drag radials or ET streets or something see how it runs. I have to hurry up and get my stall and ET streets on so I could go **** off all the head cam cars and all them because my stock car runs faster
i did alright on thursday considering i couldnt get in a clean run to save my life the week before....turns out my rear LCA and torque arm bolts had backed out and were barely on hand tight....retorqued em and the car feels solid again....stable on the freeway and doesnt have that annoying clunk everytime i stop like it did before....anyways i bested 8.4 @ 86 mph w/ a high 2.0 60'....not bad for a practically stock ls1 car (no ls6 parts)....the car has 8.1 in it easy, just gotta get used to having traction again...loose bolts FTL!!!!!
its a 2000 ss M6 with airlid,headers,and dumped duals...full options and a 300 pound driver....i think its pretty decent considering the car is damn heavy with me in, looking forward to getting back out there next week and besting my time...
did anybody see the aqua procharged nova and the white 5.0 tearing it up...those ******* were MEAAANNNN!!!!
