2008 San Diego International Auto Show---Rep your LS1 Greetings Everyone.
My name is Daniel Weinberger, and I am the Director of Aftermarket Relations for the San Diego International Auto Show.
In recognition of the automotive enthusiast, the 2008 San Diego International Auto Show would like to present the members of LS1tech with the opportunity to show their vehicles at our annual show. The show will run from December 26th – December 30th,2007. In addition to premier parking directly outside of the convention center in the display area, the owner of each selected vehicle will receive two VIP passes to this year's show. Though hours are yet to be specified, please note that current plans only require that you leave your vehicle for the day, so that vehicle owners are not inconvenienced.
To submit your vehicle, please email me a minimum of three pictures (exterior, interior, and engine bay), and a list of modifications, as well as your contact information. Don't be discouraged if you don't have the showiest car, we would like too see everything--- from the modded daily drivers, to the road race cars, to the dedicated track day quarter milers. The San Diego Auto Show is a great opportunity to have a good time with friends and family, and also to get the club some decent exposure. The San Diego Auto Show recognizes the importance of the automotive landscape to those within our community, and I look forward to all of your submissions. Well my car is stock.... but it goes 8.0 in the 1/8th..... will have stall and Et streets at the end of the weekend..... maybe I can buy some bogarts before then and get accepted

I'll help you out so you can understand it a little better:
1. A car show has cars
2. Cars that are modified, have a hard time passing smog
3. Cars need to be smogged to be registered in California
4. The car show is in San Diego
5. San Diego is in California
Therefore, if you are soliciting more attendees, it stands to reason you provide something they want. Being that my "smog booth" reference was intended as a JOKE, and it would be illegal, it would never occur. Now go play with your toys.
