Ok List updated,
I found out the scheduler for the track got fired so I am waiting to hear from the temp about our track day. should be tomorrow.
I will get the website updated early next week.

i dont think its the preppers fault, i think the track is cheap and is conservative on the prep for the normal track days, but from what i hear, on private track days its prepped much better.

I would be more than happy to pay an extra 5 if the track was preped better. 5x hundreds of race cars on a normal weekend should more than pay for extra prep work.

Well not such good news now they are telling me that they gave our track day away to the Mopar meet that weekend!
I am working on some alternatives I will find something to make it work. I am checking with San Bernardino Airport and other options.

I don't mean to jerk everyone one around I am just trying to be upfront and keep everyone informed. Arn't you glad your not dealing with them!
After ignoring my emails and voicemails last week (due to the weekends event) I got an email this morning and spoke with Calif Speedway immediately following that. Apparently, Mopar got the 23-25 and the 26th is open for us and I should be receiving the contract by next week. As it turns out they have revised their 2008 schedule a dozen times last week due to the contracts previously signed with the former manager.
So despite not being the optimal day, I look foward to a day of 1/4 mile racing and I will look into finding somewhere we can set up a burnout and/or drift competition for the Saturday for all you Tire shreaders or a beach day all depends.

well im glad to hear the 1/4 is still on. maybe they can make the other track at cali speedway available for the drift part earlier that weekend. that would be a great way for them to make it up to us.
