If my car was up and running I'd be more than down for some street action. Motor comes out next week......then it will be a month or so to re-build it and get it dialed in with the new turblower!

I have a badass well prepped road if you cry babys can come to a agrement.I will spray and heat the first 100 foot and spray vht for the first 500.The rest is on you.And i dont have a ls1 car but would be more then willing to get some runs off.

There is a road in mind they might use. But that's up to them to agree on. I do know they are in talks through PM, so give it a lil time fellas.

I'm sure LA has some good streets, but they are all car invested streets with intersections, stoplights, reflectors, curbs, buildings, and so on.

We have NUMEROUS cop free spots that are fully prepped and ample for '8 second' cars to make passes on. There are no curbs, no telephone poles, no houses, police, potholes, intersections, and so on. These are wide, long, straight fresh back country farm roads that you can stay at and not have to worry about looking over your shoulder. Each of the spots are accessible off the main freeway.

We would like to see some of you big talkers pack your **** up, PM LSInnovations, and get something set up.

What I do know is, the road elky is talking about broke my high dollar ring and pinion set in my C5 as I was "trying" to do a burnout. There is a lot of rubber down, and with the prep he mentions, I doubt any Cali track would hook better than this particular road.
As was said earlier, "anyone can win on the street", and that is certainly true. The street can be the great equalizer. The most power isn't always the fastest car.So why not two categories: fastest LSx on the street, fastest LSx at the track?
You have to admit the street does offer a unique challenge, at least to those who know. By many of the comments here, some obviously don't.

 

**** my A4 loved the street, but hated the track!! I have seen cars that are set-up to hook HARD on the street that can not repeat that same launches at the track. And of course there are the cars that are the extreme opposite of this. So i agree w/ the fellas above.

I have no need to setup anything in public view...Ive agreed to the one PM ive received on a race. It'll get setup between those involved...everyone else has no business.

 

How about we run the non LSx motored cars also. i want to get in on some street action too.
