God damn man!! You drive a vette and you still live with your parents? I think you need to get your priorities in order. House or your own place definately comes before the vette. At least I would think so. Whatever you want to do though.

Yeah, it is a shame that someone is living with their parents, while probably going to school trying to make a better future for themselves, while getting a little help from the parents. haha one hell of a way to crack down! save up and get a radar detector or something! i've been caught once and it was a few years ago when I first bought my car... it's pretty simple...

To be honest with you guys i have yet to impound a vehicle for street racing, i think there are only certain agencies that can impound it for crushing, like CHP or LASO. Far as i know we(LAPD) just give out tickets and let people go on their way, unless they dont have a license or its suspended.
But then i am not really up to speed on the street racing laws, usually we will do a task force if it gets too crazy but we let CHP or DOT determine if it can be impounded.
I do know Vice started confiscating cars for picking up hos and they go to auction.
