haha. no i am not asking u. i am telling u. u an agree or disagree to my statement.

but anyways i think we all agree that he should file a complaint. cuz if they act like buttheads for no reason, something should be done. for every action there is a reaction. hey guys, who u got in the patriots bills game? i think the bills have to play the best game of their lives to win. i would love to see an upset. **** already 14-0

if i knew that filing a complaint would insure i didn't get harassed ever again then of course i'd file one. but i don't think it would guarantee that and you do something like that you take the risk of the problem escalating. go talk to the guy man to man and squash it.

Arguing in this thread is stupid. File a complaint and be done with it, if he pulls you over again for something stupid file another complaint. See where that gets you, if it continues move up the chain.

I personally would not have put up with half what you did.

nobody is arguing. and getting messed with by the cops is an issue for a bunch of ppl on ls1tech.com, i'm sure, so even if we were arguing it wouldn't necessarily be stupid. filing a complaint isn't always the answer.

so what would you have done in his shoes? given the cops a bunch of crap and gotten yourself into a wreck or worse?

Don't know if any of this has been said but 1, they probably live nowhere near you as cops usually don't live in the same county they work in. Just because of crazy people out there. You really can't do anything so I would have a camera hidden in the car so if he pulls you over or any cop for that matter, you can record if they do harass you or anything like that. Until then forget it, nothing you can really do except bitch about it, which is pointless.

right. but i just don't know about the legalities involved relating to a camera mounted in your car "recording" police contact though. might want to look into that one more before doing it.

It would be completely legal because they have no "reasonable expectation of privacy" (Supreme Court ruling lingo) when they pull you over... Man, that took me back to college (degree is law)
