My top speed in my camaro was while chasing a friend in his vette down the 14frw coming back from LACR, i was about 15 to 20 feet off his back bumper, and my HPTuners said I was doing 173.
Oh and 160 on my ZX7

I took it to 150 once and got scrrd so I backed off it, but I know she had a lot more left in 'er (including 2 more gears). I might try it sometime again now that I put on some tires with tread on them! I'm sure the belts that were showing on the last set were probably holding on by a thread.

Yeah it was pretty sweet. 4 black Z06s and 1 yellow Z06. We were having some fun then when we got to our destination we were like you guys realize we were "just cruising" at over 160 mph? lol.

a few years ago when my z28 was bone stock, except for a k&n and a flowmaster.... me, along with a buddy of mine buried it at 155mph with the rpms still climbing. we did it on an old freeway late at night...there were no cars, and the trees along the road just flew by.... i have to say it was scary as **** and i'll never do it again!!
i now usually try to keep it under 120 when racing, lol

in my camaro i buried it racing a s281 saleen 99-04 body style mustang on i94
also my iroc buried the 145 speedo
my old lexus ls 400 160 speedo...lol actually quick car would beat gt mustangs all day any body style

155+ buried speedo in the 96 Z28 on the way to Palm Springs on the 10 at 4am one morning...
145 (not quite buried) in the 99 Formula on the way to SD on the 15 one weekend...

yah but is the governor taken off ur car...cause they top out at i belive 153 or so unless the governor is taken off...maybe it was 163 i dont remember but i kno they capable of 180 with it off

195 in the Z-ho. Car was still pulling sixth nice and strong, but I thought the hood was going to blow off the car and hit the lambo that was about six buslengths behind me. So I lifted.
