why would it be a total? does it depend on what year the f-body is and what year it happened? because i had insurance cover well over 10 thousand dollars of damage, including the replacement of a brand new crate engine from a corvette in 2004-2005 (because camaros were no longer made as of 2002 of course).

if your looking for a really good body shop, my father owns one in pasadena....we deal with almost all insurance companies and the work there is top notch....let me know if you need any help.

It all depends on the KBB value. Insurance companies, depending on what carrier you have, will only cover up to 75% of the value of the car. If he goes to an insurance assigned repair shop, I guarantee you the estimate will be around 10G

How come you are waiting you hear back from YOUR insurace?! I though he he you? Anyway it doesnt even look ALL that bad. How fast do you think he was going? Got any other pics of his car perhaps?

Wow that sucks to hear man.

It's hard to say...for the quarter panel to buckle like that, could be some minimal frame damage, but nothing that can't be corrected. Just keep your fingers crossed. Keep us posted.

Whenever I was hit by someone else, I never talked to their insurance company, my insurance company handled everything.
