headlight problem! PLEASE help!
ok so we changed the head light motor on the driver side.
the head lights work but the motor doesnt spin.. but when we connect it to the ground wire above the fuse box, it works.. so obviously there is a short somewhere between where it would hook up to the headlight and to the wiring under the fuse box.
does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

The motor turns, but only in one direction when we ground it closer to the headlight assembly.

the wire that will be controling which way the motor is turning is the positive wire! or you can disconnect the wires and connects it to an Ohms meter to tell you the readings and voltage of the wiring

When the power is applied to one wire the motor spins in one direction, then when the power is applied to the other wire, it spins in the opposite direction.
While applying the power the ground is the opposite wire, so all we are doing is swapping the two wires to make the motor go in opposite directions.
So, theoretically there is no ground wire because both wires turn the motor, but in opposite directions.
