IDk if you can get a scanner. Those are only for Cops. But with a radar detector, Ide say go get the expensive ones! Even if it only saves you once, its already paid for itself!

I've always liked K40's products. SonarRadar. THey used to make a CHiPs detector, then it was deemed illegal or something and pulled off the market. Mine got stolen along with my IROC back in 94.

I'm pretty sure you can still buy police scanners. they make hand held units and DIN (dash/radio size) units. I believe BEAR is a brand name. Its been so long since I've messed with that stuff.

The Valentine One is the best at detecting radar and laser.

I guessing two red plastic cups with a string hooking them together....

A nice pair of scissors would be an even better investment

Lol hey that have speed lasers 2 but most of the time they don't say ****. Like when I was driving from tj to mexicali after the mountain range. I was at about 110mph on cruise control and they didn't pull me over or nutin. And they have hemi trucks and chargers. (I would still smoke them tho) lol.

Definitely go either an Escort Passporti 8500 or a Valentine one. You will picxk up cops so far away that by the time you are passing them and they are clocking you, you just look away and bust out laughing. Its well worth the cash if you speed alot, but if you buy it and dont ever speed, its an effing waste!
