LS1 Impala SS
Someone on tech has done the swap, and its been done awhile ago. I just sent him a PM to find out exactly what he had to do, any problems that occurred, and how much it cost him.
Heres the link to his thread:

and heres a picture of an impala in AZ, what i would want mine to look like as a finished product.

The Official Way: Build the LS6 before its put in the car with everything. Eagle 347ci rotating assembly, Ported heads, LS6 cam kit, the whole shebang.
or
The fast way: Just put the motor together and get it in the car. Get my hands on a stock rotating assembly, and just top it off with forged pistons and good rings, run stock valve train and heads. and as time progresses start making it faster, Put a Bigger better cam, get some LS6 heads and port them. and just run it as a rebuilt 346ci with big top end parts.
Any advise?
