sorry for the thread hijack. From what i hear, nothing but good from CMS and strictly, but I went to Haddad based on recommendations from some very close friends, and I couldnt be happier. I dont look at hp numbers since every dyno is tuned differently, but i can tell you that with my tune i gained 13 hp and 20 lb.ft. of torque. The car also drives much smoother, shifts faster (higher line pressure) and no longer has a governor.
Im sure the other places mentioned here can do at least equal work.

Well, to put dyno numbers into perspective, I put down 420+ though an A4, baby cam, stock torque converter, 243 heads, and full exhaust.
Of course, I never thought it was legit, but I have the paper to prove it. So like everyone else, I could put it in my sig.......... but it would be BS, based on logic.
Goes to show you that dyno's aren't what they're cracked up to be.

Another way to look at it would be after I added a torque converter and UD pulley, I lost around 60-70rwhp.

ya id like to go to charlie since hes real close. what kind of numbers do you guys think i could put down? ive got an slp lid smooth bellows exhaust cutout and thats about it. id like to put some more bolt ons on but im on a tite budget. any ideas on some relatively inexpensive mods to do before i get it tuned? oh and id like to keep it smog legal. any help would be appreciated. thanks.
