^plead not guilty anyway , you can request for certs and calibrations , if they arent up to date or calibration you should have a better chance. Visit that website i gave you if you are unsure

No. This is not how we work here mister. If police gave a ticket to EVERYONE who broke the law then I would agree with you, but they don't. The favor some people over others don't they? It's not a TRUE justice system and the technicalities only help the constituents who are part of the un-favored population.

That is, if you ask MY opinion.

you have to go to court regardless.

Your first appearance is when they ask you if you want to plead guilty or not guilty , you say not guilty and then they reschedule you for a later date or you do your written trial . With written trial you have to pay the full amount upfront , and if found not guilty you will be refunded via check in the mail

****IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR TRAFFIC COURT, PAY THE TICKET AND TAKE TRAFFIC COURT**********

It's a sure fire way of it not hitting your insurance...

The written declaration thing is a Fallback if you are not eligible to take traffic school...

the system is set up is to make money. if you plead not guilty and he shows up 99% of the time they will find you guilty. Your word against a cop, you have something to lose he doesn't. The best advice I have ever heard from a friend that is a LEO is pay the fine and try to get the points off the record.
