Unhappy just got a speeding ticket! )=

it happened on the freeway and he was parked on the side right after a turn in the freeway! he clocked me in at 92mph in a 65mph zone! i asked to see his radar and he said "nope! im not even going to let you step out of your car" so then i asked for his calibration and he refused to show me! i think he just took a estimate on my speed when he saw me passing a car! and btw this was in kern county right by Gorman! does anybody have a clue on how much it will be? or do u guys think i should just do contest by written declaration? my court date is next month!

written declaration...just keep postponing it as much as they will let you. By the time your court date comes around it'll be at least six months...that ****** is not gonna remember and won't be able to write ****...good luck man!

you still have to pay but they will reimburse you if there are no charges!

$250 is cheap.....got pulled over for doing 65 mph in a 40 mph zone and the ticket was $670...that was 2 years ago

Something to think about, is that some cops have recieved special training to "estimate speed" just by looking at your car going down the road. Their estimates stand up in court if they are trained. They are accurate within something like 3-5mph

Got a 92 in a 65 in Texas. Was around the $275ish ballpark.
80 in 65 on the 5, courtdate is coming up on the 9th. Going to file for an extension and try to postpone it as long as possible.

not always true , they can get you by pacing you supposedly. If infact he did say he got you on radar and you contest it in court you can ask to see the record of him checking out the gun that day , his certs (to make sure they are up to date) , and the record of the gun being calibrated (should be done twice a week iirc) .

My advice to you is Ticketassassin.com

I had a an old friend get away with one a while ago down here in SD but i am not certain if that will work up there or if the rule is still in effect but someone just mentioned it the other day that it is still in effect.
