How strong are you thread... 2nd attempt!!
Anyways Im gonna make this thread again and hope it will not get locked. I want honest answers please and if you cannot be honest then please dont post. or if you do a different type of lift or strength workout let us know..
anyways my lifts are
squat 405 x 2
deadlift 535x1
military press standing is 225, using legs I can get about 265. Ive plateaud and havent bene able to get my shoulders stronger this year
bench is 325 now, but last year my best was 345 x 2.
clean and jerk: I havent really tried this workout, though I should...
grip is c.o.c #2, which is a 195 ft lb gripper and is decent hand strength. most mechanics I know cannopt even close the #1.5 which is about 165lbs of strength... and no the HG grippers are measured in different resistance.. so the HG 200 is way weaker than the c.0.c #2....
and nail bending is a strength workout... theyre levels of nails(metal rods you must bend by hand... to qualiy the straight nail must be bent in under 1 minute, by hands only, and bent to a U shape, both sides less than 2 inches apart.... you can use special pads for thenails, becuase theyll hurt your hands...you can go to ironmind.com and search for what it is... anyways the ironmind nails have 5 levels
easiest to hardest is white, green, yellow, blue, red
Ive bent 2 blue nails so far, but dunno if they qualify because I used my thigh as a leverage and dunno if thats against the rules. But ive bent plenty yellow nails by now... my goal is to do teh red nail by the end of 2008...

I've been working out since about 16, played football throughout highschool into college, and wrestled a little, now I've been doing MMA for about a year, got 6 fights so far (no loses but all amature fights)
Im starting to run in the mornings - I had a tattoo done in 2 seperate sessions and ive been waiting for it to heal before I start lifting/working out again... I really do feel the difference in everyday life from not lifting, kind of makes me dissapointed dont know if any other lifters get that feeling ?
Im thinking of starting to jog every other morning for like 20 minutes before work.
Im about 5'11 220 pounds, ussualy cut to 205 for my fights
