Default Anyone know of an A/C shop in the SFV area?

I need to get my system vacummed and refilled with freon (was released during cam install, I put a new dryer on it already) and Firestone wants over $200 which seems retarded...

Anyone have any leads? I am in Valley Village which is bascially Studio City/North Hollywood near Magnolia Blvd. and Laurel Canyon. Thanks!

No I can't... You can only do that when your system is already under a vacuum and mine is not.

are you sure man? we have done that **** with a empty A/c condensor! the first thing you use is the oil so the system can build its own pressure! it works!

I have done this before also. it works. Or if you want bring it down to SP and he can do it. I'll be there doing my cam swap.

$200 sounds right for a proper service, My shop charges the same.

I don't see how all the freon would get in and/or where the air would go... I blew a seal that way on my 1994 Z, or so the shop told me...
