wow. i went faster than that in my first time ever at irwindale and any drag racing whatsoever with a bone stock WS6

 

i actually beat a 05 mustang GT yesterday, the mustang had 4:10's, ported intake, ported poilished after market TB, cold air intake, really nice long tubes, basani exhaust system, and a tune! he was claiming he had misfireing and all that bullshit, but we ran 4 times at 15 MPH roll (really gay 4 me but good 4 the mustang) i spinned out so much with my bald tires that i had to let off the gas! but on the last run, i was able to control the spinning and i passed him by like 2 cars! sorry to hijack but i jus wanted to say it! i feel good now ahhhh. bullshit mods in my sig

 

My only question is how the **** does a pullied+bolton cobra only trap 85MPH in the 1/8th? I've ran two at irwindale and there traps were roughly 91-93MPH with only 440RWHP.

I could see the shitty times due to traction problems but 85MPH tells me hes stock or the car has an issue with the tune or misfiring or something....

 

well you can see the heat exchanger and i know he had pulley and exhaust, still no vid.

he was a really cool guy, I have been wonder how I would do against a 04.

first one is me at 5psi, 30 mph 2nd gear, teh cobra was in 1st

second try was me at 10psi 40 mph 2nd gear, cobra 1st gear

third try was was 10psi 40 mph 2nd gear,cobra in second

I missed fourth and just stayed out if it.
