We spent several hours on the motor mounts, majority of the time trying to figure out how to line everything up to insert the pins. But after many hours we realized that you had to loosen the pedestals, then we were able to manuver the engine until the mounts and pedestals lined up and tapped the pins in until they were fully seated.
If I had to do it again, I'd say it would take a couple of hours to complete, assuming you have the headers removed.

Take a look at the stock y-pipe, towards the end where it connects to the cat on the drivers side, right about where it transitions from bent flat to a circle is the location where the cat will be able to tuck up without rubbing.
Also check where the ORY pipe is bent, just before that will be the location. When you are under the car prefitting and measuring, you should be able to see where the cat fits.
You don't have to remove the AC comp to do the motor mounts.

thanks for the info on the headers btw, i got it all done with some poly motor mounts, there was alot of room to work with for the mounts since the manifolds out. the motor barely moves now and the LT's sound badass ![Chug! Chug! Chug!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_chug.gif)
