Default Now Ive done it!

Guys I need your help. I decided to clean my engine bay with
that engine gunk remover crap and I sprayed it down with the
garden hose. Bad idea. I thought it would be ok since it didn't
have much pressure, now my engine won't run right and my ses
light started flashing. Scanner shows 13 codes oddly enough I
had the same codes a few months back during a sparkplug swap
(one wire wasnt in all the way). Anyone have experience with this?

I've used that gunk with orange stuff a while back just a lot of steam burning off and fresh rotton orange smell. unplug the wires let everything dry then plug back in after a day.

Check all the fuses, then re-scan it.

A year ago i went through a puddle and popped a fuse. It went into limp mode and threw 5-6 codes. All the sensors ran off the same circuit so they all turned off when the fuse blew. Replaced the fuse and the problem went away.

leave it in the sun and after a few hours all should be dry and everything should be good again.

doing this cleaning isnt smart on a high mile car because the "water resistant" plugs loose their water resistance.

How do you usually clean the engine bay? I've always used the same method (except for the garden hose) and I guess I've been lucky enough not to have any problems.

I use a hose and nozzle and haven't had a problem. I dilute Simple Green 1:10 and it still works awesome. I do it on a hot day and let the car sit all day.

I wouldn't do it if I had to drive right away, that's just my precaution right or wrong.
