It has to be a motor from a newer car and you have to have all of the smog equipment from the donor car for it to be legal.

not yet lol I got side tracked with trying to buy a house and put my swap on hold. All that is left is install clutch, and trans. Pedal assembly and all necessary holes are already there. I need to install the prom also, install the pulley belt, put fluids and start the car. But I am going to work on it this sunday so hopefully i get it started then if not get most of it finished.

I like IROCs that have the headlight (or tool bench, as I like to refer to them) area painted black, as they came from the factory.

Third gen can be a very nice car too. IMO its the same car with 4th gen interior..

I guess the only reason I am thinking about selling it is I want to have a nice car to drive right now...I think it will take a good 6 months to get this car running, and maybe another year to paint it and fix it up... or I could just sell it all and use that as a down payment on a nice 98-02 SS or something.
