heres a little bit of useful info
RS = looks and appearance package
Z28 = trans am high revving road race car
SS = drag strip torque monster ( but u can still add the RS to the SS and get the SS/RS for a good looking drag car
)
ZL1 = incredible power and performance mainly for drag.
in the 60s this is how it was:
Trans am:
Mustang boss 302
Camaro Z28
Challenger R/T
Drag Racing:
Mustang boss 429
Camaro SS 396
Hemi 426 Challenger/Cuda
z28 for the track and SS for the strip, thats how it was and thats how it should be.
