Okay, now I'm out of the equation, regardless if you renege or not. That's not right, to keep a potential buyer in the dark, essentially lie to them, and mislead them.

Maybe that was to get you to bite, I can only guess, maybe not and it's all a misunderstanding.

What I do know is as of Wed/Thur (couple days ago), the car was still up for grabs and I only inquired about a week ago and he offered to drive it part way down here.

I'm bumping this up b/c I'm having trouble finding a car. I bid on a Saturn on ebay, the item didn't hit reserve, it was around $2500. I called the guy, asked what he wanted: $4500! For an 11+ year old car, that couldn't even get $2500 on ebay.

Every decent priced one on craigslist goes in a few days.
