Default Have you Ever?

Have you ever agreed on a bet that you know you probably couldn't do???

I'm stuck in a Dilemma....!

So here's the Deal.....I agreed to go Vegan for 3 weeks!
This is going to be so hard to do considering the 4th of July long weekend!

The prize isn't so big...but it's for $300 dollars. I don't want to lose 300 bucks. So Is there any vegetarians on here that can help me through this? Any suggestions..? I know this isn't car related....but were all enthusiasts of cars who have same opinions and thoughts about things.....so I ask you....what would you do?? Do you think youll be able to pull it off?? 3 weeks doesnt seem like a long time....but itll be the longest 3 weeks of my life.

Obviously not a vegetarian here, but these bets are relatively easy for me b/c I like money so much.

Change your focus from what you're losing (meat, 1 bbq on the 4th) and focus on what you'll be winning ($300). Start thinking about what you'll spend your money on, the pride of winning the bet, things like that.

I'd even say to carry a picture of what you're going to buy with your winnings, it'll remind you of your goal during weak points.

For $300, it would be an easy bet for me. Just eat salads and tofu.

There are alot of different flavored tofu's. Soy beans in the pod are hella good. Check out the Vegan menus on Food TV's website. There are ALOT of things, hell CHIPS AND SALSA might become your new best friend.

Here's a start.

Yeah Im actually about to take lunch in a bit and head out to Vons Market to see the Vegan products. I looked some stuff up...and came across this company called Amy's. They have lots of vegan meals....and I actually dig veggie burgers...so It shouldnt be a problem.

vegans dont eat any dairy stuff right? only organic stuff......good luck. and in no way is a vegetarian the same as a vegan. vegans are way more strict. fyi.

i back up what gil said, they are different.

vegan means you cant even eat stuff like dairy products, wear leather products, or eat fish (lots of vegetarians still do all of that stuff).

watch the tofu intake. it can taste decent, but soy beans (what tofu is made of) is high in estrogen. youll turn into a chick with a dick. ROFL

Do you think by the end of the 3 weeks you're only going to break even, considering you have to buy special (more expensive too) food?

That would suck.
