Hey Cobra. These are the ones ur recommending right?

275/50R17

Would I have an issue cuz they are 50 instead of the 40 on the rest?

According to you I should tell everyone I'll race them from a dig from the water box... right? lol

Yep those are it, they run small according to what the tire size says meaning a 275/45/17 is only 26 inches tall and has a tread width of 9 inches instead of 10 inches like on most other tires, they have a 315/45 or 50/17 thats about 10-10.5 inches wide and 28 inches tall, and the compound is softer than the others, but yes these tires work best of all the drag radials and have a nice feel on them when driving. Adam at S.T usually has some in stock if not he's always first to get some tho. But they are kinda pricey tho, a little more than the M/T's.

these are what my friend runs, with the drag radials you can get away with running at the track but with the et streets or cheater slicks at bandi and pmi they require a drive shaft safety loop.

Almost positive that a 28" tall 315 would not fit in my wheel wells with out rubbing on launch. Would be sick to have though. I'm liking those. Maybe I'll give Adam a call tomorrow.

That's being done with the rear end. I just gotta wait for the powdercoater. Besides, I don't have to tech again till next season. Those tires basicly the MH cheater slicks?
Edit: Doesn't look like they make em for a 17" rim.

Find out exactly, cuz there tires run small even tho what the tire says, but jus call him and ask him what exactly they measure out in inches that way you can figure it out.

Well I'm not expecting to lift any tires yet (at this elevation). Hence the 17" rims. So I wouldn't expect them to blow.

I hear ya man. I've looked everywhere for those tires and they're back ordered for a least a month. Was almost thinking about getting drag rims just so I could get some that aren't backordered. I'll pm u my numbers.
