In most cases a BBF head will also tear the crap out of a BBC head. but the BBC will be cheaper to build than the BBF.

thats totally relevant...only way you would know that was if you personally build and raced a boosted lsx and a winsor 351.......considering how cheap an iron 408 or a LSX block is nowadays......go to any track anywhere in the country and the most consistent reliable set ups are GM bow ties for the most part

Many of those comments on that stang website were very educated and unbiased, some were even pro-LS1.

I applaud those who aren't blindly biased. I don't mind biased, that's natural, we all have preferences. But to completely fool yourself in your own bias is pathetic.

$$$$ only because you have to get everything else that goes with it, offset shaft mounted roller rockers, lifters, correct angle intake manifold, pistons with correct angled valve relief's. It adds up real fast. But i have to agree with the small & big block ford stuff is much better, Ford dominate's the race tracks/classes FYI all you guys that think your chevy is king.

Ps. the fox chassis is a much better drag platform.

I'd like to do a nitrous 351W fox. I hear they run like hell! And with a nitrous car you can drive it on the street without having an overly radical motor.

The GM stuff makes power but you have to spend big $$$ to go with either little chief stuff or Sb2.2. Edelbrock Victor sbf heads will outlfow both c5r and etp canted valve heads out of the box no questions asked. now get those heads into the hands of a pro and you have a mean bullet.
There is one in the 6's (ls1). I think the $$$ factor is still very high in the ford department as well.

Thats a good price for that car from I can see. The build cost would be well well over that!

There is more aftermarket for sbf, bbf than there is for sbc, bbc, and lsx too.
