I got a letter from a gov agency that we do work for and have a contract. The letter said almost the same thing as that website, except that they used our contract number and business name. But it has nothing to do with smog checks.

The bulletin doesn't say anything about test only centers being shut down. This does us no good, if our renewal says "test only" we still have to go to a test only center

oops i meant BAR not CARB....

They operate under the bearau of automovie repair.... i HIGHLY doubt that they are going anywhere, think about the revenue the state gets because of these laws. Cost me almost $600 a few months ago for "modified smog device"

Pardon my ignorance, but what does this mean to us stock manifold guys? If I were to throw on LTH's right now, would I have to wait for a fix it ticket to go to my "buddy's" smog shop, or is there a certification that I can get as soon as I put them on?

I thought all this meant was that the financial assistance offered to those who failed smog (up to $500, to get your car able to pass smog) was being shut down.
