why would anyone want to baby a h/c ls1, ls2, ls6, etc.???... dont u get the extra power to use it? and what is up with this mindset of breaking stuff? stay stock if u want to limit the possibility of breaking something...
*if you get a h/c done, u should be smart enough to save some dough for a rear end...
with that being said...who gives a **** what kinda tires you have...warm them up...launch it hard...beat his ***...take his girl...grab a beer...and post the vid when ur hammered...easy enough?

I would put money on your Vette even more if it is from a stand still. I was bored one day and the Ford dealer saw me drive up in my C5. They offered to let me drive one of those Roush 430hp mustangs. The car was junk and had major tire spin. I know my stockish C5 would of taken it no problem. They were asking around 45k LOL.

Talked to my SGT. and he told me it was a stage 3 "Black Night" model! we wanna do the race at the next Fontana drags. Let me know if anyone here goes that has a video camera to record it. Will be fun!!

I did a search for a stage 3 "Black Night" and found nothing on it. Maybe he meant the stage 3 "BlackJack" and if is, its still no better then 430hp. Its just all black.

The highest hp Roush is 435, rated at the crank, with the exception of the limited edition P-51A (510hp).

Yup- they are usually around 390hp on a dyno to the wheels- with the bigger pully.
Your Vette should handle a stock Roush.. however- this limited edition Roush (P-51) is around 435 to the wheels, and would be a bigger challenge.
