Default what are some good OBDII scanners?

too bad autozone doesent rent them out anymore, so now i gotta buy one. i just actually bought one from walmart but its a peice of **** im gonna return it. im looking for a good code reader that i dont need to carry around the damm manual with me to see what codes mean what. thanks for lookin and please let me know if anybody has one for sale too!

harbor freight has a decent one for 40.00, Auto Tap is $75-100 used on the board regularly.

o crap i completly forgot about auto tap. i thought auto tap cost like 2-300 dollers?

^^ i also noticed autotap is for specific makes only i think, they dont have a universal one.
im trying to look for the software on bit torrent

I use the harbor frieght one for $40, has a manual though, that or I use my Predator but it only works for my car and not our other OBD2 cars.

im thinking pretty strongly towards that pro scan tool! its cheap and it records 0-60 times and all that other stuff

This is the one I have and it works great. It also has live data and it tells you what the code is so no need for a booklet.
