I would much rather have the Performance parts over the Cosmetic ones.

That is if you spend 2k on wheels and tires...my TTMs were $600 brand new, shipped, the 315 Nitto drags were $338 shipped, and the fronts were $320 shipped.Sure after mounting thats still about $1300 but with the DRs its also a performance mod...and stock wheels are ugly.

agreed. first thing i'd do is get some wider wheels and better tires, then suspension (at least change out the shocks) so that you can handle decently at higher speeds. that kills two birds with as it takes care of some appearance stuff.

then i'd go looking about how to get more power.

i took a shortcut and went with nitrous. i have a 3600 stall sitting around waiting to go in. eventually i'll buy the heads/cam/blower i've been staring at.

the most expensive stuff will be the power adders, so plan it out as you're saving your pennies.

I don't need to save pennies lol. I have a settlement from the County of San Bernadino, City of Laguna Hills, and a church lmao. I just dont want to blow 50k on a ******* z28. I have budgeted about 15k total off the bat. thats including purchase of car for 8.5k

I wish! I would have got more money. Long story but basically I hit a cop on my bike when he pulled out in front on me on a blind trn in Laguna Hills. the church was at fault for not sticking to their agreement with the city to have a certain line of sight. They had over grown trees and bushes along the turn and you cant see threw it till its too late.

it has 43k miles on it. I haven't actually paid for it yet but I have been looking and this is the best deal I have found so far. I have already talked to the dealership and they are just waiting for me to come down but I got school all week so hopefully I can get someone to give me a ride up to LA to pick it up
