Alright guys i've been trying to put a 1/4 mile track day together for a while now and we finally got a chance to rent out Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield CA. for November 22/08. thats right Famoso!!!! not fontana or irwindale lol

it will be around $105(maybe less if possible but still trying to work on it) for the entire day and will probably be limited to 50-75 cars.
now this track isnt a half assed prepped track like Fontana, this track is famed for its very good prep(sticky enough for us Slugs
), good weather and altitude. plus the cold november mountain air might help a little too 
so what do u guys think of this very exclusive private track rental date?

Update#1 (9-16-08): At this time we are not setting up any bracket racing, there will be grudge matches so you can race heads up with who ever you wish, Tenative start time is 10am for racing and 9am for gates to open/ tech.
Update #2 (9-17-08): ROBERT AT ADVANCED DYNO HAS STEPPED UP! WE WILL BE HAVING A DRAWING FOR A FREE DYNO TUNE (A $450 VALUE) THE DAY OF THE EVENT. Again your prepayment is your entry into the drawing! Big thanks to Robert, and hope to see him out there!

Also Ryne is going to sponsor the all important and infamous BBQ by Kevin (BlkGoatLV), that's right it is now official that the BBQ master himself is going to be working the grill, thanks to a nice contribution from Cunningham Motorsports!

yeah we have still have spots open, the only people who get on the list are the ones who have paid up. we cant add people to the list just cause they say they want to go.
