yeah. i know that redline does **** with imports..but hey man. if it makes more people show up then **** it you know. i dont care. everyone would be there for the same thing. see some fast cars and kick it. and maybe you havent heard of havoc because its a newer shop. its dope as **** though the guy that owns it is really cool too. its right of of rosedale hwy if your from bakersfield. but like you said...forum sponsors. i dig it.

Yes, it is still $105. Thats is $5 for the paypal fee and $100 for the track. You will get to race all day, lunch, and a raffle for GM cars.
Once again, this is for street cars ONLY. NO fuel-altered, pro dragsters, and bikes.

guys i dont think 105 is bad at all for this event.
if u like waiting in line and hours a day in the hot *** sun for a pass or two then the $20 track days are for u.
but....
if u like a track where u can just line up and run without having to wait for ur number to be called or ur "category" then this event is for u.
plus like mad mike said the BBQ and raffle would just make the event that much better.

I suppose you better take my name off the list and refund my money. I misunderstood what your track day was about. My 64 Nova is not a street car nor does it have an LS1 in it. Sorry for the confusion. Someone posted a link to your track day on the Famoso message board and having a brand new engine I was looking for a day like this for loads of seat time where I could really do some shaking down.

how fast is ur car? let me see if ur car is ok to run. is it nitro? alcohol? what category is it in?
no problem we will try to keep having a event like this since im not really fond of the make-shift track at fontana and the lack of prep that goes into it, so until they build a new track in SO-CAL, FAMOSO in bakersfield is the track to be at.

Update #8 (10/17/08): This event is going to require that cars be on a DOT tire and be a "street car" This means it should have working lights and DMV registration, also it should be a late model GM LT1 or LSx based. I have been inundated with calls from folks wanting to bring out everything under the sun. Hopefully this clears up the criteria for this event. okay i sent payment already but have to check on some things. are the muckey thompson et streets (not et street radial) a dot tire and i have to pay about two years of registration fees to go.
